Hi there!
You may have already heard, but Dad has received letters of birthday congratulations from President Bush and the First Presidency of the Church. I also received a nice email from the Mayor of Edmonds this evening saying he plans to send Dad a note just before his birthday and will be there at the party if his schedule permits!
The Mayor also notified the local paper and I got another email from a reporter from the Edmonds Enterprise saying he wants to write a story about Dad. I sent him what Glen had written together with the photo you are using Dona---the one in his red plaid shirt. He will probably be calling Glen for more info.
Eldon, thanks again for the suggestion to write to "dignitaries!"
